Thomas J. Holmes

Thomas J. Holmes is semi-retired and of counsel with Beard St. Clair Gaffney. Mr. Holmes graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1972, and with a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1976. He worked for a Big 8 accounting firm prior to going to law school and obtained his accreditation as a Certified Public Accountant in Nebraska in 1974. He was an assistant editor of the Nebraska Law Review, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1974, and served as City Attorney for the City of Chubbuck, Idaho from 1988 to 2021. He is a founding organizer and member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Community Bank in Pocatello where he serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Loan Committee. Mr. Holmes is a past director of Gate City Rotary, past board member of the Greater Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce and past board member of Developmental Options. Mr. Holmes area of practice included estate planning, trusts and probate, and real estate but is now limited to real estate and assisting former clients.
