Martindale Hubbell Bio

Jarin joined Beard St. Clair in 1997 as a member of our business team. He has extensive experience in working with companies of all sizes on all aspects of business transactions including complex tax matters. He has also represented businesses and individuals with tax liabilities before the Internal Revenue Service and Idaho State Tax Commission. He regularly advises clients in contract negotiations and on the formation and development of start-up companies (including corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, and limited liability companies) mergers, acquisitions, trademarks, and copyrights.

Selected Experience
Representation of 1 to 5 million dollar companies that are being sold to multi-million dollar companies. Representation includes preparing tax strategy, documents for transfer of assets, and documents for terminating companies.

Representation of individuals before the Internal Revenue Service and the Idaho State Tax Commission involving tax payment and compromise.

Representation of an estate to recover a one-half million dollar refund from the Internal Revenue Service. Representation includes preparing plan for payment of taxes and administrative claim for refund.

Prepared and filed trademark applications for businesses with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Representation of businesses in tax and business planning.

Representation of multi-million dollar high-tech company on business transactions over 1million dollars. Representation included negotiating terms and drafting contracts.
