The Idaho Supreme Court has upheld a $1.04M fraud judgment that Beard St. Clair Gaffney obtained in Bonneville County after a ten-day jury trial in 2009.  The final judgment with interest exceeded $1.2 million.  The case involved a local utility company's failure to disclose inadequate sewage facilities to our client, Printcraft Press, after it built a new building in Sunnyside Industrial Park off Sunnyside Blvd.  As a result of the fraud, Printcraft lost its sewage access for over a year.  The jury awarded $990,000 in damages for lost rents, moving expenses and other miscellaneous damages against both the utility company and its owners, including Doyle Beck, a prominent Idaho Falls businessman, zoning board member and chairman of the Bonneville County Republican Central Committee.
